A new white paper from HIMSS suggests that the smartphone can hold the key to delivering capacity and enabling an innovative approach to rapid antigen testing as governments continue to wrestle with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The global health service company has launched a region-specific offering aimed at “SMEs, corporates and government organisations” within the country.

The agreement will focus on improving solutions across Aster’s entities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Qatar, and Oman.

Digital health experts from the UK will join the debate on how healthcare can evolve beyond COVID.

Hospitals and health systems saw performance improvements in April compared to previous year; Google helps fund a data visualization tool that displays the scale and disparate impacts of COVID-19 cases.  

Dr. Jeffrey Vergales, a pediatric cardiologist at UVA Children’s, will be presenting at HIMSS21 on Aug. 10.  

The data from PicnicHealth and Komodo's Healthcare Map will be available to researchers in the biopharmaceutical and academic communities.

Eventually, the tracker will be expanded to include conditions such as mental and behavioral health, and include additional determinants of health.   

The hi.health app enables customers of private health insurances to submit their bills and prescriptions for medical services digitally.
